Birthday Dragons, Gary Grenades, Metal Robins and a Movie Screening
This coming Thursday's gonna be quite a "special" day - for not only are Switcheroo Workshop releasing a host of toys (7pm-8:30pm) from Amanda Visell and Michelle Valigura - but tis also Amanda's birthday! (31 is NOT old - take it from an old man, yo!)
First up is Amanda's BIRTHDAY DRAGON - limited to 25 pcs with a SRP of US$400 - this figure is Number 3 in Amanda's Zoo Trip series. (Figure comes with a girl, present and a matching print). Above-right is Michelle's next (plush) concealed weapon - with the Plush GARY GRENADE (snapped by Brian McCarty). Up next is Michelle Valigura's METAL ROBIN - the 2nd bird of her sold out series. Featuring 2 faces on one figure, it comes in 5 possible eye colors and a numbered original little sketch on wood. Limited edition of 50 @ US$60-per.
Amanda also mentions: "Hell there. well looks like thursday is also my birthday! What should we do? How 'bout treat all of you to a private screening of one of my favorite movies, Rear Window at the Rialto, a rusty gem of a theater. Movie starts at 9pm. Im totally disturbed that I keep talking to people who have no idea what this movie is. We'll have cake and pie at the workshop first."
