STORY-BY-CRIS-ROSE: For as long as anyone could remember, the statue had stood in the park, hidden away behind the pond, under the gaze of the Tor. With no real records concerning why it was erected, no knowledge about who put it there, it was left to overgrow and rust away.
Eric knew all about it. He would drag his parents to the park every thursday afternoon, heading straight for Arthur, running around it with the best stick he could find, slaying dragons and knighting his dog, Sir Barkley.
No one seemed to care that the King was buried below the ruin, nor that he rest upon his famed Table and that Eric had found a piece of it last summer. Eric knew that one day he would find the way in, recover the Grail and bring peace to all of Christendom as the new King of England.
That would have to be done tomorrow though, dad says it's time for tea.
