Star Trek Series Two by Playmates Toys
A couple of weeks before Star Trek the movie screened in Singapore (and an excellent celluloid-trip it was too!) - I'd stepped into a neighborhood Toys'R'Us (at Tampines Mall) to look for Playmates Toys' Star Trek-offerings - but could not find any, and had since lost interest in them. Now comes news of a second series?Cool Toy Review has posted images and info for Star Trek Galaxy Collection Series 2 featuring "Warp Collection Series 2" and "Warp Collection Creatures", as well as the 12 inch figure line "Command Series 2" (mirrored here). "This wave will see Scotty, Uhura, Nero, Captain Pike, and Sulu to go along with the first series. Both the Sulu and Pike figures will be offered as Toys "R" Us exclusives."
Well I did ask for a NERO in 1/6th-scale (but NOT the "magic-faerie-wand", mind) ... although I had Hot Toys in mind, but still, perhaps this be salvageable with a kitbash?
