FAB-FIBE Show 2009 (Call for Paper Toy Skin-Designs)
WHAT-IS: FAB-FIBE Show 2009 is an exhibition on the multi-possibilities of fabric and paper.FAB is a short form of fabric but also a slang for fabulous. FIBE is short form of fiber for paper, but it sounds like vibe. So in a round-about way it's like Fabulous Vibes.
The paper part is mainly showing the Paper toys collaboration project of "Boxy Bat" and "Love Bear". Fabric part will be represented by Roomism's Big Foot Series and other as yet-revealed fabric creations.
BOXY BAT is Designed by Singapore artist Chong Wei Loon aka Soloist. LOVE BEAR is Designed by Taiwan artist Yamahasam.
Roomism is targeting to collect 200 designs to show in the exhibition, all designers are welcome to join the collaboration project - anyone who interested please visit this blog-post. CLICK THRU for STGCC-pics!
- Deadline for submitted folded design is on 4th October 2009 (Send your folded design to MAAD @ Red Dot Design Museum, Singapore at first weekend of every month)
- Deadline for submitted soft copy is 30th September 2009. (Artwork in jpg format in 300 dpi).
- Do include a short bio and the title and intro of your design (in Word document upon submission of the design)
- Event will be held from December 18-20th 2009 @ Sculpture Square, Singapore (How cool is that?)
