RX-78-2 Gundam Ver.G30th by Bandai (Seen @ AFA09 Press Con / Sept 1st)
Bandai will be continuing it's celebration of the Gundam 30th Anniversary at the year-end Anime Festival Asia 2009 with a slew of displays and activities planned (full details via my coverage of the AFA09 Press Conference here). And the giant life-sized 18 meters tall RX-78-2 Gundam built at Odaiba Park, Tokyo [tagged on TRE & mecha-lurvin' it] has now manifested itself via a desktop sized model kit - complete with weapon & shield - as seen on display at the PressCon.

AFA09-PRESS: Bandai will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Gundam at AFA09 where visitors can walk through Gundam Time Tunnel Showcase featuring items and memorabilia from the Gundam franchise through the years.
