Events: Qee Anniversary Show & Yoka Custom Show @ Rivet Gallery (April 3 launch)

Double the reasons to pop by Rivet Gallery this Saturday April 3rd, with the opening of not one, but TWO group custom shows! Namely the Toy2R 15th Anniversary Qee show [blogged] and Custom Yoka Show "U.S. Gallery Tour" [Venues blogged / Customs tagged]. An opening reception will be held for both exhibitions from 7-10pm and complimentary beverages will be provided by Magic Hat. (Some artists will be in attendance at the reception) ~ CLICK THRU for some select snaps of customs by a variety of artists.

Note that even though they launch on the same day, both shows end with different schedules ~ with the Toy2R Qee exhibition running thru April 28, while the touring Custom Yoka show finishing it's Rivet-engagement on April 25, and moving on to the next.

Also note that 25% of the sale proceeds from the custom Baby Qee figures will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House!

PRESS: Traveling custom toy show presented by DKE Toys and adFunture, the maker of Yoka. One may ask, what is a Yoka? It is a DIY vinyl platform toy taking on the shape and appearance of a panda bear. This show will feature custom work from over 200 artists from 20 countries.

PRESS: Toy2R is celebrating their 15th anniversary of the Qee figure. As part of the year celebration, Rivet was asked to host a custom Qee show. This show will feature customized 7 inch and 3.5 inch Baby Qee figures from 20 artists.
