Custom Munnys for Lovely Lowbrow Toy Show @ Square Records Gallery (Aug 14-30)
Akron-based toy retailers Vivid Plastic sends over snaps of custom-Munnys currently on exhibition for the "The Lovely Lowbrow Toy Show" [event-blogged] which were launched August 14th @ Square Records Gallery in Akron, where over 30 custom pieces are on display (thru August 30th).

"The blend of Akron based tattoo artists, graffiti artists, illustrators, and lowbrow painters made for a visually stunning exhibition."

VIVID PLASTIC: The Lovely Lowbrow Toy Show opened last Saturday to a packed crowd from 4:30pm-9:00pm at Square Records Gallery in Akron, OH. This custom show marks the first annual event organized by Vivid Plastic : Designer Toy Store. The crowd was a good mix of lowbrow art enthusiasts, toy collectors, and locals from the eclectic Highland Square neighborhood.
The show will be on display during the huge art festival "Art in the Square" (www.ilovethesquare.com) on August 28 and runs until August 30.
