Lowrider by Alexone x Artoyz Originals @ New York Comic Con 2010 (Cultyard Booth 2577)
French toymakers Artoyz Originals showcased a new figure set named "LOWRIDER" by Alexone @ Vinyl Pulse's booth 2577 [blogged] in The Cultyard @ New York Comic Con [tagged]. Shown here is the "Regular Version" with a release-schedule of 2011.
The "European-Aesthetics" of the figure is quirky-delightful, while the masked-birds riding shotgun gave me quite the chuckle. Would be interesting to find out more about this creation, and it's subsequent colorways.

I love how off center the the
ReplyDeleteapproach to this is. The grill
looks incomplete, holes in the
hood with masked birds coming
out, the front being so high
in the air, and a forehead arm
coming out of the giant bird's
head. Whaaaa? :D :D :D
