The Tees of The Great Depression Apparel Brand from Jakarta

The col thing about Dicky Lesmana, was when I was introduced to the man in Jakarta (circa MWFI), I was fawning over his cartoony tee-designs, and had immediately suggested doing a contest on my blog, with his tees as prizes (something which I very ever seldom do), and he agreed generously enough, with the result being two separate contests. (on Twitter and Facebook).
Now the coolest thing about the designer tees of "The Great Depression", were the designs by Dicky himself ~ nostalgia-fueled and smack tinged with a sense of irony about it's cuteness in visuals, representing days of yore-joy with a veiled intent to subjugate rather than assimilate, IMHO. Check out more on his Facebook page (where you can also order the tees, although it is pricey mailed out from Jakarta though). As well, you can score them in person if you are at Plastic Culture in East Mall, Level One.
