On The Rooftop of the Shandor Building: Ghostbusters Diorama by Mattel @ WonderCon 2011

Where's "Gozer" tho? LOL

The allure of "Ghostbusters", for me, was the memory of the classic movies back in the heyday of geekdom being embraced (alongside "Tron", "Superman 2" and even "Master Of The Universe" et al) and was a great period to live in, IMHO. Then came the advent of super-movies with CG-effects so swish it puts imagination into reality, and basically screws with everyone's minds deciding which is which, in this day and age (which in fact is an awesome period to live in).

And being the ornery whiner that I sometimes lapse into, "Ghostbusters" has somewhat worn out it's allure for me somewhat these days … then I peeped these images of the "shrine" atop the Shandor Building aka "rooftop scene" on show at the Mattel arena in WonderCon, and I am re-energized again! Someone give me them DVDs for a re-viewing now**! LOL
