Tarnished Daydreams Feature: Cymon Clops by Doktor A

TOYSREVIL: Your style is distinctive, with all us plebeians labeling it "Victorian Steampunk". Is that how you see your works as well? Or are we overanalyzing it all?

DOKTOR A: "It does undoubtably fall under the steampunk catchall. I prefer Victorian Futurism purely because I feel the term steampunk has these days been hijacked a little by the cosplay crowd. Not that that's a bad thing. But my work has nothing to do with cosplay."


PRODUCT-DETAILS: "Cymon Clops" is a customized Nuahalli toy by Wootini. Made of ABS, Lead, Rubber, Polymer Clay, Paper, and Found Objects - Cymon stands 6" in vintage mouthblown glass dome.

WHO: Stamp collector and studier of really tiny things. He opted for a single eye of superior magnification than two eyes of a lower standard.
