Released in conjunction with the upcoming July 2nd feature film, is the B@RBRICK Fullmetal Alchemist Alphonse Elric figure seen above! Folks know me know of my kidult-lurve for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and this toy figure is NEEDED in my humble collection! Rakuten has it for US$24.26 (¥1,575) for a July 11th availability. And as well there is a Fullmetal-Alchemist-movie too? Hell, I' excited to have my void filled (after the finale of FM:B) - also check out the official movie website @ http://www.hagaren-movie.net.

Kazuya Murata (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion assistant director) is directing off a script by Yuichi Shinbo (Whiteout). Kenichi Konishi (Tokyo Godfathers) is adapting the character designs from Hiromu Arakawa's original manga at the studio BONES (Eureka Seven). The film will open in Japan on July 2. The first Japanese moviegoers will receive the "11.5th" manga volume which Arakawa herself is drawing. [Source]
