The Bubblegum Adventures of Periwrinkle by Playlounge x Bubi Au Yeung

UK-based retailer Playlounge has collaborated with famed-Treeson creator Bubi Au Yeung to produce "The Bubblegum Adventures of PERIWRINKLE" - an adaptation of their mascot/icon (seen above-right) into 3" tall "Periwinkle" figure with three points of articulation (neck and both arms), and as well each blind box includes within a detachable gum-bubble plus a fold-out comic strip and any one of three possible 'mystery-packed' accessories (aka a bowler hat, umbrella or a satchel) "to help Periwinkle in his adventures".

Priced at £7.95 per pull, you can currently score them online via playlounge.co.uk. Looks utterly charming too! But three designs only? Someone score them in the UK and let me/us know, please ~ thanks!

Although I wonder if Hong Kong's Crazy Label had a hand in it's production, with the bubble-blow very reminiscent of their "Bubblefun" (This piece of news was twittered by Andy Woo of CL actually LOL).
