Leica-Inspired M2 resin Sprog Robots from Cris Rose
UK-creator Cris Rose has been diligently twittering images of an upcoming resin figure, decked out in splendid chrome-silver finish, off-set by the simple black of the robot-body, and featuring an intriguing camera-lens "eye" head. Highly desirable? Indeed so!
Cris mentions: "They are special "M2" bots, based on the colours of the legendary Leica M2 - a camera i've wanted for a decade and thanks to a trade of my art, and some proceeds from this release, i'm finally getting to own! :) FYI, this is the camera used to take the famous Che Guevara picture among many other famous photos."
This figure is heightened by the addition of a miniature camera with a leather-strap, all of which taken by Cris with his new folding Polaroid 680SE SLR - and from the Impossible Project's PX600 "Silver Shade" Black Frame instant film snaps seen above-left, there seems to be two figures too! All product details will be made known in a coming newsletter from Cris.
