Robobees Series Two by Lunabee (First Half Revealed)

Sarah Miskelly aka Lunabee reveals her second series of hand-painted ROBOBEES on her Flickr! A total of 6 designs will be unleashed from Friday June 10th @ 7pm London-time via http://lunabee.co.uk - priced at US$80 per (inclusive shipping). We've previously posted teasers, and now currently (as of this post) we get to see DAHLIA and KARPO (The Panda) above, and SELENE (The Owl) being featured below. What is special about this series is that whole range has been painted in a different style to the regular Lunabee-style, and she did it with 2 reasons:

"1. To push myself and try painting in a style I am not used to and 2. to keep things fresh! I think it's so important as an artist to keep pushing and trying new things instead of painting the same thing over and over. I hope you will support me in this new style direction, safe in the knowledge that my little drippy black eyed monsters will still be appearing in future custom works." ~Sarah

ROBOBEE-STORY: Selene is the queen of the skies and her job is surveillance. Her robobee suit is designed to fit in with the dark of night. The golden glowing bands around her can be set to flash to warn the others of danger or to a dark hue to conceal herself against the star scattered skies. Selene is the oldest member of the group, naturally wise and usually rather solemn but with a great caring for Dahlia's wellbeing.
