BISMARCK TOY LAB: The concept of this incarnation is consistent with the root story of Solidboy itself, about a masked specter that roam around feeding on memories. This print depicts Solidboy in an ancient Avatar form. The form that is manifested from feeding a forgotten memories of a long lost oriental civilization.
Alas! You are what you eat! Solidboy must now control this powerful memories that once ruled the ancient realm.
TOYSREVIL: Why the name "Memento Mori"?
BISMARCK TOY LAB: "Memento Mori" means "Remember You Are Mortal". This title is a reminder for Solidboy who played with memories of the divine and then lost himself on the way to heaven. As a mortal being, Solidboy must now wage good and evil war before the heaven's gate.
MEMENTO MORI bears the image of a stylized Solidboy from Bismarck Toy Lab. Sized 12" x 13", the lino is hand-printed on 240grams thick paper stock called "Curious Metalic", and includes metallic "gold" sheeting at the edges. This rustic themed print is limited to only 28 pieces, with 10 pieces available NOW especially prepared for the launch during the STGCC-period. This is a TOYSREVIL-exclusive print.
To be made available to order from a minute past the stroke of midnight on August 16th, price is US$20 per print (with International Shipping an additional US$10 including Registered Article, and local/Singapore is US$5 - sans Registration).
