Promos for DesignerCon & OMFG Series One
Promos. I like 'promo materials', and the concept of promo materials. Most of the time, folks (like us/me) dwell within the online highway, and see imagery of every conceivable size and colors promoting a variety if things and events, but when it comes to tangible things, it has to be beyond just a "toy" (which this blog predominately showcases on a daily basis). Of course "cost" factors into everything we all desire to execute, but tis the thought and consideration in the very first place, that reminds you to set aside said sum, to have these promo materials be prepared and made.
Shown here are promo materials for both a series of toy figurines and an event, produced and organized by the folks at October Toys. Shown above up top is a postcard for the coming Designer Con in Pasadena (formerly known as Vinyl Toy Network) featuring an updated character design for "Vincent" - the event's mascot- by designer Scott Tolleson (first featured here). And posted below are a fold-out mini-poster and two swish gloss-cards for their OMFG Series One figurine set - one of the cards feature the artwork of Charles MONSTEFORGE Marsh, and frankly is pretty darn cool.
A sticker. A postcard. Or even a name card, be sure to include these printed promo materials with your items, as it is not just meant to advertise to folks who have already bought your products, but to hopefully have your brand, name and art passed unto other folks - What? Like you're going to give away your toy to the next guy? LOL
