STEAMPUNK-STORY: Professor Ictineo was the Nautilus's scientific photographer. It is said he was the author of the most impressive serie of pics of underseas monsters ever done. Unfortunately he was carrying the photographic plates when he became the main course for a giant squid near Finisterre, Spain.

Capt. Nemo ordered to design a steam powered replicant to continue his investigation. As far I know at least 13 replicants were made as they were destroyed by undreamed creatures.

I still wonder how this one survived to the Nautilus´s sinking and why an unnamed sailor entrusted it to my great-grandfather…
