Opened a sealed pack of All-City Breakers from Kidrobot [blogged] and got myself a flexible lady with breakdance-skills, a boombox and a floor-mat for her to break on! But what I really loved was the sealed-foil packaging itself - with a graphic of a cassette tape front'n'center!
Seriously tho - the detailing on what I have in hand, is pretty darn-decent, especially the boombox and even carved in details of the figurine, of which my pulls thus far yielded the neon-pink (other colors include blue, green and orange"). Priced at US$1.95 per blind-pull, this series is slated to be released September 15th, 2011. Inspired by the plastic army men of childhood stuck with a base, these figures certain appeared out of left-field - especially from an art-toy-themed producer such as Kidrobot, but the colors and theme certainly fits the mold where retro is the 'now', and breakdance is a swell idea to be made into this series, IMHO.
