AKB48 Singapore Cafe Girls @ Anime Festival Asia 2011

One of the more memorable happenings at Anime Festival Asia (www.animefestival.asia) I did not personally get to experience with my eyes, but constantly hear with my ears, is the result of performances by dancing AKB48 Singapore Cafe Girls (www.akb48.com.sg) at the Canon-stage - who performed on stage along with extremely loud chanting from the crowds (heard in the video above) - now this is the sort of extreme fandom that envelops the venue with joy and excitement, IMHO. And it certainly put a smile on my face :)
