The Dark Knight Rises IMAX Trailer
The trailer for the final movie of the trilogy from director Christopher Nolan was launched during the weekend (while I was hospitalized), and can be seen online via www.thedarkknightrises.com - featuring Bane and a Selina Kyle (that sort of sticks out, IMHO). I liked the trailer, but had expected to love it even more, but I find my desires wanting. The sense of mystery is still ever heightened, but it is beginning to look more like a 'drama-fueled' exercise, than a comicbook-superhero flick … but then again, The Dark Knight never really was a run-of-the-mill by-the-numbers comicbook-movie, was it?
I've updated select screengrabs HERE in this FB-album, along with some slight commentary. Am also looking forward to what "toys" this movie might bring. A 1/6th-scaled BANE and CATWOMAN from Hot Toys, perhaps? For sure we'll see an incarnation of Batman himself...

to Tumbler-technology, as the vehicle existed even before
Batman, didn't it? Bruce just painted it black in color! lol

armoured-suited-ass get handed to him from villain, BANE.
