Boys and their Toys launch today @ FLABSLAB

Today Friday January 6th will see the official launch of FLABSLAB the gallery @ 1 Commonwealth, along with the launch of their calendar project "Boys and their Toys" (behind the scenes video).


Shown here are a few location snaps of what is to expect tonight, including blacked-out door entrance, and drawn-on walls picture-frames featuring images from the calendar shoot by Joel Lim up on show. As well the models for the calendar will be present, so remember to say "hi" and snap loads of smiley pics! And check out an image from the book below:


FLABSLAB-boss Jeffrey Koh mentioned on Facebook: "The models in question … are not locals. They belong to a marginalised community. We aim to portray them as the beautiful women that they are, but lest it becomes a social cause campaign, they were shot having fun with designer toys, giving it a light-hearted and playful twist."

Make of that what you will, folks. Note that the exhibition contains nudity. The exhibition begins tonight at 7pm, and is free, and is opened to the public until January 13th, with opening hours between 12noon to 6pm (or by appointment). FLABSLAB Gallery @ One Commonwealth, #06-11, Singapore 149544.
