"I've always hated "cute" vinyl toys. I'm the type who wants to collect art toys that are edgy and push the envelope. But in 2011, I found David Choe's Munko whales and it changed my whole attitude. They're cute, yet have a strange sadness to them that makes them mysterious and interesting, as if each one has a story to tell.
