DREDD As 1/6 Would Be Great Because...
Reasons why the new DREDD would make swell action figures in 1/6th-scale (and by this I meant "production toys", not individual customs or kitbashes, which I am sure would look awesome too):
01. The MegaCity Judge's uniforms look like riot-police gear, and could fit well in tone the genre of current Law Enforcement figurines (gawds but I miss BBI and their LAPD SWAT figures…). The last time I saw similiar-ish looking uniform was Hot Toys' Appleseed figures, but instead of moulded pieces, we could have a mix of fabric-padded and moulds. Judge Anderson looks like she could be wearing Denuan Knute's uniform, no?
02. The heavily weathered and dusted look of the Judge's uniforms parallels the visual grit found in most 3A Toys = so right here is an excuse for folks to replicate the "weathered" look straight up!
03. You have whatever headsculpts underneath the Judge's Helmet, and hence, there will be folks who might team-build and procure multiples of a Judge-figure and kitbash multiples of Judges (hereby increasing demand for figures in the first place).
04. A Judge from MegaCity doesn't seem to need a heckload of 'accessories", so a 'Lawgiver' aka hand-blaster alone might do it. Okay fine, also a larger blaster secondary with a sling and grenade launcher, and cool redundant sniper-scope = YEAH!
05. They say the motorbike makes the hero/anti-hero … okay, fine, I said it - because I want to see a nice swell bike (Think "Batman + Batpod") - and the 2000AD comicbook version possess so much more .. OOMPH, than the speeder-bike seen in the image reveal above, IMHO.
What? You folks are content with this Medicom Toy 1/6 from 1998 featuring the likeness of Stallone instead? (Gawdknows I considered getting it for a long while actually LOL).
