New Image & Trailer for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter


Not content with just launching a new trailer (shown above), the folks promoting the upcoming movie "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" had even done up a Facebook-meme styled image featuring Lincoln! Way to stay up-to-date and connected to current trends, folks! Adapted from a novel by Seth Grahame-Smith, the movie fictionalizes the former American President as a Vampire killer, and now heightened to the modern-now on Facebook? Glorious!

I'm looking forward to eventual crossovers with Pride and Prejudice and Zombies - hell, bring the genre back into time and let'er rip! But please, I'd stop it if someone decides to do "Sang Nila Utama" as a "Hantu Buster", yeh? Thanks ~ MUAHAHAHAHAHA

Produced by Tim Burton and directed by Tim Bekmambetov (whom I had lauded for Nightwatch), "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" launches June 22nd, 2012. I find myself decently excited to watch this flick, especially with the final scene on the trailer above showing the powers of Abraham with an ax? *NICE*
