Shawn vs. Shawn: When East Meets West @ Pasir Ris East CC (May 26-27)

Shawn Siow will be appearing in the upcoming S'PORE 2012 this Saturday and Sunday (26-27 May 2012) at Pasir Ris East Community Center selling the comic "Project Red", and conducting a simple talk with fellow comicbook artist Shawn Yap. Titled "Shawn vs. Shawn: When East Meets West" (26 May 2012 - 4pm to 5.30pm) the event features a panel discussion on the Differences and Similarities of Asian and Western Comics.


I managed to score a copy of Project Red at last year's Comics Xchange, so it'll be a treat meeting up with Shawn again (i am referring to 'Siow') and am also hoping to score Shawn's latest book Shawn's latest work "Letters" (i am referring to 'Yap') is still currently looking for a publisher, but previews would be available to be viewed at the event … meanwhile, check out his illustrations below, including an Avengers ill!
