Introducing Pixelkaiju by Jordy te Braak

From Jordy te Braak comes PIXELKAIJU - currently with it's prototype sculpt on show, with it's hand-cast resin editions - in both white and in-color - with a tentative end-July release. Here is what Jordy has to say about PixelKaiju:

"Born a blue king he once ruled the realm of Kaijudon as an epic king amongst monsters. Alas, a freak accident involving the evil, Evillou, queen of the Posca markers, sucked Pixelkaiju into the earthrealm. Trapped on earth, his mission is to build a bridge between worlds,
using the illustrator Jordy te Braak to create visual portals from one world to the other."

I am trying to grasp the "kaiju" aspect of the figure, but perhaps tis just a name used after all … cheerful chap tho, although the crossed-out eyes seem a tad "ominous" = I like! LOL

UPDATE: This is Jody's (whose illustrator's name is also "Pixelkaiju") official response to my blog-post: "The term Kaiju isn't well known in Holland (the Dutch don't have a high attachment with monsters and weird creatures), So it's my little effort to get the term Kaiju more known in the Netherlands. Hence the name "Welcome to the Kaijushow" for my solo expo."
