A sense of fluidity seeps thru the macabre notions of Martin's work. Interesting was his series of faces, more interesting was his silkscreens, but the pencil-sketches somehow were the most evocative, by far. Sometimes "simplicity" truly showcases the artists skill and ability, IMHO.

About the Artist: Martin is a painter and a legend living in Portland, Oregon. He is a Wizard in training. Rock n’ Roll soldier, guided by the Hand of Iommi. Unrepentant metalhead. Defender of the faith. This will be Martin's second exhibit at Rotofugi Gallery.
