Nominations of DTA 2012 Closing June 15

With nominations closing Friday June 15th at 11:55pm (PST), this year's Designer Toy Awards will then begin the voting process for folks to support their fave creators, toys, and websites currently practicing in the art toy culture! But before voting happens, you need to NOMINATE your faves first!

Not too long ago, I was whining like a little girl about TOYSREVIL not being nominated for "Best Blog", when lo and behold, some kind soul out there nominated me! (And no it does not mean whining about not being nominated will get you pity-noms, yeh? Current blog you be reading notwithstanding:p)

One important aspect of this year's DTA, is that folks can anonymously vote now, even for themselves (the notion of which I am against, myself, but that's just me). So if you have any intention to get on the list, scoot yourself over to http://www.designertoyawards.com - and it's not as if everything's a confirmed shoo-in as well, as there will be a "DTA advisory board" on hand, "offering impartial advice on growth and direction". The advisory board is made up of industry spear-heads including: Kathie Olivas / Brandt Peters / Jack Muramatsu / Jesse Hernandez / Dov Kelemer / Sarah Jo Marks.
