Riot Edition of London Olympics 2012 mascot by Whatshisname

With the London Olympics 2012 drawing closer, I had wondered if anyone would grab at the opportunity to do some related custom work, and I am rewarded with this hilariously cool Riot Edition of London Olympics 2012 mascot by Whatshisname! And by that, I meant the hilarity of the depiction, not that riots are funny, okay? Beware them sports-terrorists, people, for the bobbies be beating' you down!



PRESS: Inspired by the London Riots of 2011, artist - Whatshisname created his own version of London Olympics mascot. Figures portray riot police equipped with shields, helmets and batons as well as hooded hooligans with Molotov cocktails. One of the figures show police beating with baton laying on the ground hooligan. Artist's intention is to draw attention to safety in and around London during the 2012 Olympics.
