Year One Anniversary & Tasty Rainbow Editions by Peter Kato for New York Comic Con 2012
Peter Kato first released "Tasty Rainbow" editions of his Turtle Tetsujin for Giant Robot circa SDCC, and now for New York Comic Con, there are new figurines to be had, featuring "Tasty Rainbow" editions of FrightBite, Kawako and Man-E (as requested by Peter's fans) - with each priced at US$10 per, available via Onell Design booth #3216 as well as via Peter's online shop
"It's been one year since I've debuted these particular figures - Turtle Tetsujin, FrightBite & Kawako - and wanted to make my 1 year olds a part of the Toy Tokyo NYCC exclusive family this year. Always appreciated the attention and support they have given me while & after working for them (well, Lev). These three figures hold a particular place in my heart as they were really the first to allow me to step into the toy indie scene as a participant. The year since their debut they have offered me a wide range of color variations to play with and had a great time letting them find their audience. So for the " Year One" editions I had produced them in a clear with a tint of black making them a "dark crystal"-like figure." ~shared Peter Kato.
Available for purchase at the Toy Tokyo booth during the New York Comic Con, they are both priced and limited to: TURTLE TETSUJIN (US$20 @ 5 pieces only), KAWAKO (US$10 each @ 10 pieces onl) and FRIGHTBITE (US$10 @ 10 pieces only).
