GOODBYE2012/HELLO2013: David The Killer
TOYSREVIL: Share with us your most triumphant moment in 2012.
@davidthekiller: Every year there are always something great, 2012, for toys related, have to say visiting hongkong for 3A ReVenture is something to remember, especially going together with friends, the other great event that are into my mind is for sure, STGCC, meeting some artists that I've never met before, fun times!
Outside of the toys world, me and some friends are planning something that got to do with 'mini cinema' that finger cross is happening next year, the idea is to bringing some films that are not screening normally, we'll try to show it there, excited!

TOYSREVIL QTN#2: What is your most favorite toy, or piece of art you've seen in 2012?
@davidthekiller: a new toy line that called "Lighblack" interest me with the first ever toy already released few months ago and lucky enough to score one (this time also still haven't received it yet lol, still in china), the first one is called "Keni Uno in the mirror" (photo courtesy of weibo.com).
@davidthekiller: The other toy and actually my first ever KAWS toy, Astro Boy x Kaws is also my fave (even the toy still in Japan and i haven't hold it in my hands), for some kaws fans, it's a toy that they have been waiting for, as for me, it's just beautiful, especially it involve iconic japan character astro boy, and ow, size does matter, beautifully big!
As for the arts, Mark Nagata of Max Toy Co did some amazing artworks as i started to follow his stuff last year, i only know he's the master of kaiju toys before, until i visit his blog and also Mashi who i met in Stgcc and bought her toy (again not received yet lol).
TOYSREVIL QTN#3: What are you most looking forward to in 2013?
@davidthekiller: In 2013, me and a friend of mine, Fredy Chandra are doing a project of making our own toys, not much i can share right now since it's still in production, but this one dedicated to all collectors everywhere who still love toys and related stuff like sci-fi, etc, even in the age that i can say we are no longer kids anymore. There's always a kid in all of us!
TOYSREVIL: David has been nothing short of a swell support and buddy both online and offline. And now this unyielding "toy collector" is poised to become a "toy-producer", is simply exciting!
