36 Chambers Street Art Talk at ARTSPACE@Helutrans (March 21)
Deep in the bowels of Singapore (okay fine, it's at Keppel Road), Lion City Clans converge and will be adoring pristine white walls with "art" of the urban streets and scene. Besides the visual splendor, there will also be a FREE graffiti street art workshop/talk by some of the top local street artists Samantha Lo, Anthony ANTZ Chong, Clogtwo Eman, Trase Oner (from Singapore) and Totem 1 from Atlanta!
MORE INFO: 'The workshop and talk with a special emphasis on youth communities & youth-at-risk enrichment programmes. Taking place at Helutrans artspace in the evening of the 21st of March, the workshop will be 2.5 hrs long and will consist of two parts, firstly a short tour of all the works of art on display followed by talks conducted by local artists* and Totem, a legendary graffiti artist that is based in Atlanta.'
Seen above are snaps from ANTZ's instagram of things to come … exciting to see events like these happening in Singapore, and for the scene to be embraced as such, IMHO. Launching Thursday, March 21, 2013 (7:30pm-9:30pm), "36 Chambers Street Art Talks" happens at ARTSPACE@Helutrans in Singapore. More details on their Facebook events page. This event is part of "CULTURESTATE" which also includes the Radikal Forze 15th anniversary jam.
