The Face Underneath The Mask of 'Lost Planet 2' Mercenary 1/6 figure by 3A Toys
The "face" underneath the mask for the 3A x CAPCOM: Lost Planet 2 Mercenary 1/6 figure has been revealed on the 3A-production blog, and features a more "realistic" facial-sculpt = an obvious departure from the stylized ones offered by 3A thus far. I wished they had stuck to the stylized look tho, which was one of the reasons which differentiated 3A from other brands, IMHO. Nevertheless, it is currently availably to order via www.bambalandstore.com for US$160 (price inclusive shipping, excluding 3AA 1%5 discount!).
Also to note, the item will also be offered to retailers but will "come in different packaging and at different price." (via) with no numbers mentioned.
Totally agree with Andy on this one. This fig just doesn't feel right. Even though some of the ThreeA toys are restricted in their look by license (ie. Real Steel, Halo), they still have 3A flavor. 'Ashness' if you will. This one is missing that. I'm more interested to see the smaller scale figure with armored unit.
