I'm told the collaboration between Sanrio, Inc. and Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products "will target collectors with limited-edition collectibles, while offering something for all fans."" -reported Whitney Matheson of USAToday.

It would definitely be an interesting crossover to behold, even if it might mean the Simpsons end up with having no mouths on them (heh). We've seen Kidrobot have a go at both the Simpsons and Hello Kitty characters, and even super-deformed versions of POP! vinyls from Funko, so am looking forward to see this incarnation, IMHO.

IN a world now rife and rampant with "re-envisioning" and/or rehearsing old concepts - "re-familiarizing" the new generation, I am sure - methinks "crossovers" are perhaps the more "convieniant" way to get around this dreaded notion, and i am all for it, depending on the "result', of course ... *Innocent And Earnest Smile*
