First Customs for 2014 by Carson Catlin
Carson Catlin launches 2014 with a showcase of a variety of custom pieces. We've previously featured his "Reticu-lolli", created for "Vive La Lolligag!" at TAG (retailing for US$200). Shown up top is "RWB", created for the "Childish Playthings" show at Menace Inc. Studio and Gallery in Greensboro, NC. Retailing for US$450, Carson shares that this piece is a "Further exploration into my obsession of red white and black."
Featured below is "Cadela Metal", whereby he shares: "A commission I started in April of 2013 and completed in December of the same year. Super difficult to complete and extremely tiring on the hands. I think I'm done with copper for a while. ;)"
