Kaz of BlackBook Toy Answers "How Was 2013?"
WHAT: I asked a select few folks how their 2013 was, and what should folks expect from them in 2014, and this is what they shared with TOYSREVIL...
TOYSREVIL-SAYS: Kaz from Blackbook Toys has been pretty steadfast in producing sofubi under the BBT-brand ever since wrapping up "ZacPac" in 2012, and starting to provide folks a "dope toy supply - spreading dope vinyl"!
KAZ of BLACKBOOK TOY: 2013 was a great year. We released lots of sofubi toys with Ron English, Frank Kozik, David Flores and Mishka. I really respect them and am honored working with them closely.
Plus we attended lots of toy shows including TTF and Dcon, both of them are our first time. Normally we sell online, rarely meeting up our customers. At the shows, we can meet up those royal customers and talk, which is really important.
KAZ of BLACKBOOK TOY: We would continue making toys with those artists above including sequel, not only just changing the colorway, and wholly new one. And we (have) already started working with new artists and bands for sofubi toys.
I can't tell you the names at this point. We would probably be able to announce one of them in spring. And we would be attending more toy shows than in 2013.
