threezero X Zoids: Iron Kong Prototype & Shield Liger
In my long list of Zoid-lovers, I know a grand total of one single person (yes, it's YOU, Edmund lol) who likes ZOIDS … but seeing the awesome visage of these concept makes from THREEZERO, might well add myself to that list!
Revealed is the prototype of the Gorilla-type Zoid; "ZOIDS IRON KONG" - "one of over 200 species of fictional biomechanical lifeforms depicted in TOMY's Zoids model, toy, and media franchise." (info). No further product nor availability details besides these uncolored snaps …. but if it's finished result is anything like their heavily weathered ZOIDS SHIELD LIGER (seen below), these are mechas worth waiting for, IMO!
To arrive circa March 2014 is the ZOIDS SHIELD LIGER - featuring a painted 1/72nd scale ABS & PVC articulated figure, sized approximately 260mm in length x 190mm in height. Distributed by and available exclusively via Good Smile Company, it is priced at ¥23,000.
