Toy-Review: MAEMAEMON from Mad*L Phase:4 by MAD Toy Design
Yesterday we had a look at the MAD APE MAD*L - today we take a closer look at the 2nd piece from Phase:4- featuring MAEMAEMON!
If you do not know by now, "MAEMAEMON: was "co-designed" by Jeremy Madl's daughter "Mae" - who graciously signed my MAD*L per request (am still pretty jazzed about that, and I mean it!), alongside her dad's - and one aspect of the design you might not have noticed, is the inclusion of the figure's "horns", seen in Mae's drawing, and replicated in gold print on the head of the MAD*L! Which I think is pretty awesome :)
If you noticed in the still(s) above of Mae's drawing, you might have also noticed the variant colorway of MAEMAEMON that is scheduled for a May 30th release via www.madtoydesign.com! (Check out the turnaround pic below).
