"Modified Wool" Group Custom Show @ RayGun Comics (July 26-Aug 9)
Taylored Curiosities shares with us the official press release for a co-curated show that herself and Dan Perry @ Fugi.me are putting on this July, titled "Modified Wool"! Also featured in this post are previews of artwork and WIPs for a quartet of artists, including the above-right piece from Taylored Curiosities!
PRESS: "fugi.me & Taylored Curiosities are proud to be curating a custom toy show. We have chosen the charming “Wool” character by The Chima Group, who have kindly supplied us with 30 blank toys.
We have selected 30 very talented artists from around the world, who are currently working hard to turnthese blank toys in to their very own masterpieces. These artists include; A Little Stranger, Blue Frog, Fakir, J*RYU, Jackie Maddocks, Lisa Rae Hansen, Lunabee, Map Map, Mark Nagata, Matt Jones, MCA, Mecha Virus, Mister Lister, Okkle, Onorio, Pickled Circus, PJ Constable, Pocket Wookie, Robotic Industries, Run DMB, Scott Tolleson, Sergey Safanov, Stitches & Glue, TADO, Taylored Curiosoities, Toy Terror, Uamou, Ume Toys, Uncle Absinth, and more…"

PRESS CONTINUED: "The show will start on saturday the 26th of July at RayGun Comics Hackney in London. Pieces will be available to buy from 4pm that afternoon on a first come first served basis, and will be sent out to you after the show finishes on the 9th of August. Any pieces still available after the 9th will be made available on the fugi.me website.
This is doubly exciting for RayGun Comics, as they will also be celebrating the opening of their 2nd store. Located in Hackney, and only a short walk from Hackney Central Overground station (70 Clapton Square, Hackney, London, E5 8HW)."
