TOYSREVIL's Sunday Toys & Design Feature (June 1st Edition)
Above-left: Clay sculpt for Nathan Jurevicius' "unnamed" character to be made vinyl by Toy Art Gallery. Always intrigued to see his character designs, as they feel as it they come with a "story" and a perceived "depth of history" with them, and not just an aesthetically-led piece(s), IMHO.
Above-right: Test shot for 7-inch tall "Urban Big Foot" by Ron English to be produced by Toy Art Gallery (pic via @mjoukar)
Bottom-left: "Unnamed" spray-can-inspired character by Betso that would be awesome as a production collectible, don't you think? *iWANT*
Bottom-right: First test resin pull of a new "unnamed" critter character sculpt by Chris Ryniak. Irresistibly adorable OMG!
Above: Bag Head & "Ol Scratch" head for Stingy Jack clown body - from Mutantt Vinyl Hardcore, a collaboration with Brandt Peters that is looking simply amazing so far. I "fear" anticipation for myself, as whe drop-day comes and I either (A) Miss it when it will sell out, and (B) I cannot afford it ~ I would be devastated either way ... gggrrr
Bottom: Glow Toxigon by @mutantvinylhardcore & Little Mackerel Mouth (Toxigons only friend). Additional pic from @toygodd, who won the lottery for it! (Congrats, Eric!)
Above-left: SAD ALONE by Luke Chueh is limited to 200pcs @ US$45 each, dropping June 4th - available to purchase here.
Bottom-left: panda classic:miner panda black 原色版 释出 by @Cacooca is looking fine, but the again I always had a preference for "black" ... and "red" ... Hehh
Above-right: Chris Moore of We Become Monsters has been giving away free collectibles by leaving them out and about - which I think is awesome - with visual clues being left on his Instagram stream ... I do not know if he'll do anymore of this, but do stay tuned to his IG @webecomemonsters and hashtag #freeartfridaylv, just in case... :)
Above: Resin skulls by JFury now available to purchase on www.furiouscustoms.bigcartel.com
Bottom-left: Color for Taiwan Graffiti Artist Bounce's second "Bounce Boy" edition (WIP-pic). Produced by VTSS, we first posted parrtially-painted pics here. Quite liking the color-combo here, IMO :)
Bottom-right: With all the excitement over their collaboration piece with Scott Tolleson, I'd totally miss out on their other releases on the same day, which has since been all Sold Out - which comes at no surprise at all :p
Above: Resin 3" Jango Fett dunny sculpted and casted by Mike Die with pre-orders since closed/'Sold Out'. Totally awesome-stuff!
Bottom: BumbleBot by Mike Die - no availability details (or perhaps I missed out LOL) - Go bug him at IG @mikedie
Above: Remember when 3A Toys were selling "Beer Girls "TQs? These are images of the sets, and they look suitably delectable … ;p
Above-left: Concept pencil sketch by Jeffrey Lamm creator of "Greasebat") of SMD5 aka "Star Eater" to be produced by Unbox Industries. Check out the 3D-render HERE … the clear dome "head" would be the icing on the awesome-cake!
Above-right: "Horned Guardian" double-dunny concept from Erick Scarecrow at ESC Toy.
Bottom-left: "Tortoise Treasurer" by Camilla d'Errico now available at her new Etsy store.
Bottom-right: Drawing by Gary Baseman that I reckon would make a swell collectible!
Above: 'Space Ghost' (16x20 inches acrylics on board) art / illustration by Mark Nagata of Max Toy Co brings back loads of happy childhood memories (I'm a sentimental sap that way ;p). Done for an upcoming Cartoon Network Studio art show, do check out more work-in-progress snaps on his IG @maxtoyco :)
