DKE Toys Releases for #SDCC 2014
I've been missing out on daily reports for DKE Toys goodies lined-up for San Diego Comic Con 2014 (July 24-27) with my recent trip to Thailand (for Bangkok Comic Con 2014), so this is a swell jab in the toy-veins for what to expect from booth #5045!
ASTRONOCCHIO by Dave Bondi is a 5" tall handmade resin figure in an edition of 25pcs, each priced at US$65. Check out more imges on Bondi's tumblr. You folks know I am toady down with the RED color, right? HEH.
SPACECASE by Broken Pigeon is a handmade 4" tall resin figure in an edition of 20. Priced at US$65 each, this piece comes complete with a custom cardiac, featuring a royal blue color way that is also UV reactive.
TOXIC TIMMY from Retroband is a 2" tall hand-painted figure in an edition of 50pcs, priced at US$45 each.
PRESS: "Inspired by his TAG Gallery submission of Toxic Timmy, Aaron Moreno of Retroband has created a mini version of the radioactive mutated child for his upcoming new series titled Retroband Kids! A 2" mini resin figure sculpted and hand painted by Aaron Moreno will be limited to only 50 pieces! Each packaged on a traditional 2.5" X 3.5" trading card with front art by Aaron Moreno's original painting of the Toxic Timmy submission and back art by Gabriel Hernandez (Worthy Enemies). DELLA DAWN & AETIUS SCOUT by Robin VanValkenburgh are each limited to 25pcs and priced at US$55. These Signed and numbered editions are hand cast and ceramic, with Della standing 9” tall and Aetius at 12” height.
