2000 AD's GRONK: 3A Toys & Character Description

Just in case you blinked-n-missed it, here's another look at GRONK from ThreeA Toys, revealed just in their slate of SDCC-exclusives! As part of their 1/12-scaled 2000 A.D.-themed releases (alongside Judge Fish).

The Gronk is a companion to "Johnny Alpha" of "Strontium Dog", who turned into an aggressive berserker in the Garth Ennis-written "Return of the Gronk", when it learnt of Johnny's death (Source).

It is currently unknown if the item will be made available singularly, or together with Judge Fish as a pack/set, of if indeed a 1/12th-scald Johnny Alpha would accompany it (which would indeed be glorious!) … Stay tuned for further updates and reveals :)

WHAT-ARE: "Gronks are a timid life-form from the planet Blas in the Gallego system. Mutant bounty hunter (or 'Strontium Dog') Johnny Alpha first encountered and befriended a Gronk fairly early in his career, but the creature was killed shortly afterward; Alpha's partner, Wulf Sternhammer took the Gronk's pelt to wear, in deference to the traditions of the Gronk's home planet."
