Hot Toys @ #ACGHK2016
Right after their excitable debuts at San Diego Comic Con 2016 (July 20-24), Hot Toys continues their juggernaut presentation at the 2016 Ani-Com and Games Hong Kong (#ACGHK2016) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Booth E05, E09-10), happening July 29th thru August 2nd, 2016.
Featured on their Facebook are images of the event, for which I have since showcased on various fanblogs (URL linked below, for more pics). Hot Toys sure is doing well for their licensed properties, and I look forward seeing them (or incarnation of, anyways) at the coming September STGCC2016 (Sept 10-11, 2016) here in Singapore!
DC COMICS dominated with their SUICIDE SQUAD offerings, including collectibles, toys, apparel and other “lifestyle” products. With their reveal at SDCC, folks here in the East (at least for those in Hong Kong) got to see the 1/6th-scaled figures, and Cosbaby versions (of which there are a myriad versions that will flood toy-shelves) of “Harley Quinn” and “The Joker” were available to purchase (LOVED the poker card-deck-styled window packaging), along with the “Joker Batman”.
I have my eye out for the entire skwad of Cosbabys tho … hope they’ll have them as an affordable “set” (whom am I kidding “affordable”? LOL). More snaps since posted on #DCEUFilms!
Characters from MARVEL Studio (Film division) and MARVEL Television (TV division) were represented with DR STRANGE - featuring the likeness of actor Benedict Cumberbatch (Seen above / more on #PopcornX) …. and Netflix’s DAREDEVIL (first featured HERE), standing amidst Artist Mix and Cosbaby versions of DD, and THE PUNISHER! (More pics on #iliketeevee).
A battle-scene from “Captain America: Civil War” was re-enacted ala a diorama featuring g their 1/6th-scaled character figures, fighting a to-scaled GIANT MAN! (“Spider-Man” was nowhere in sight tho … :p). Seeing figures from both Team Cap and Team Iron Man on display, really shows the catalog of awesome toy-ness and $$$ needed to collect them hahahaha

Another license Hot Toys has been shredding the scene with, is “STAR WARS”, and in their dedicated themed display, was a battle diorama featuring 1/6th-scaled Storm Troopers and a scaled AT-AT! Not forgetting their Cosbaby line-up, which frankly has myself wavering to collect … (See more images HERE on #starwarsallday). As well costumes for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” were on show (no doubt after their SDCC debt).
