KAWS Companions To Launch Oct 20th for #WhereTheEndStarts
The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth has revealed that they will be releasing not ONE, but SIX of these COMPANIONS (both Regular and Dissected versions) online via kaws.themodern.org (link is currently not working tho :p) and in the Modern Shop at 10am CST, October 20th (Queues do not begin before 7:0am?) - coinciding with the opening of KAWS’ Where The End Starts exhibition - on view in Fort Worth, Texas, October 20, 2016 through January 22, 2017, and traveling to the Yuz Museum in Shanghai, China, March through August 2017.
"Officially" the price is unrevealed (at time of this post), but online folks are claiming it is US$200 per 11" tall figure, and are "Open Edition" pieces (i.e.: There is no limited quantity), and as well the Black BFF Plush (last seen HERE) is available as well, innit?
