“Trump Rooster” for 2017
2017 is the Year of the Rooster in the Chinese Zodiac, and a mall in Taiyuan, Shanxi province of China has erected a larger than life giant Rooster, to celebrate the occasion … with the character looking undeniably like the 45th president elect of USA; “Donald Trump”!
Apparently the designer has since confirmed that it indeed was ‘inspired’ by the hair and gestures of Mr Trump.
Heck, folks in the toy world are by now familiar with the visual appropriation unto “toys”, so this is by no means too much a stretch of the imagination, I reckon … *innocent-smile*

All I want to know is, when does the TOY version come out? It would make sense if it was a (desktop) coin bank, and if people really need that whiff of ‘feng shui’ prosperity, it could even be finished in glossy gold! And all you need to do to access the ‘coins’ deposited inside, is remove the top of the hair-piece! C’mon, it could work, right?
