"Greetings From Singapore" by Samantha Lo / SKLO @ One East Asia (Jan 10-31, 2017)
"Greetings from Singapore" is a solo show by local street artist Samantha Lo AKA SKLO, launching January 10th at One East Asia (RSVP to info@oneeastasia.org for the opening at 630pm) and exhibiting thru January 31st, 2017.
EVENT PRESS: "One East Asia takes a radical step in its 2017 programming with an exhibition by Singaporean street artist Samantha Lo, titled Greetings from Singapore. Perhaps best known by her moniker 'Sticker Lady', Sam has made her name over the last few years with her subtle interruptions of Singapore's ordered and practical daily routines through her witty and gently subversive placement of stickers on the city's pedestrian crossings, bins and CCTV cameras.
The exhibition features photographs of her interventions past and present, providing tangible and permanent documentation of her practice. The exhibition serves as a framework for the launch of her book, also titled “Greetings from Singapore”. Copies are on sale throughout the duration of the show."

This was what Samantha had to share about her upcoming second solo show (the first was 2015’s “LIMPEH” at The Substation);
"Another revisit to the past, I felt a show was necessary to put everything you've seen together from 2011 till today, from thought process to tangible documentation of the 'interventions' you've grown familiar with on the streets. From personal writings, news articles and other documents, I bare all in this show through a chronological sequence in hopes of re-telling the story through different and personal perspectives."
