TRENDY shares with TOYSREVIL a project that took 3 years in the making! Introducing “MAMUANG CHAN” by Wisut Ponnimit! From 2D-cartoons, now to 3-dimensional sculpt, “Mamuang Chan” is now a polystone collectible, courtesy of How2Work (who did the 3D Design and sculpting, production and manufacturing of).
Limited 200 pieces, this lil’cutie stands 21.5cm tall and is slated for release on May 31st, 2017 @ 9:45AM (Thailand time) = orderable via the figure’s distributors TRENDY at trendy8648.com and/or Instagram @trendy8648.
Let’s get to know a little bit more about Mamuag”, shall we? Created by Thai cartoonist, animator, illustrator and musician Wisut Ponnimit.
"Mamuang is a famous character who made her first appearance in the comic book "Everybodyeverything". The little girl is named Mamuang, which means mango in Thai, in relation of her hair whose shape evokes the form of the stone fruit. The character became well-known in Thailand through a series of Line application stickers. Millions of people downloaded a Mamuang sticker because of its cuteness." (Wiki)
To get a prototype possessing the same look as his cartoon lines, with modeling (with “soil molding”) and 3D applications until the result was satisfied, to next be produced and made by How2Work from Hong Kong, with the result being a 21.5cm tall polystone collectible, limited to 200pcs worldwide!
