Made in a trio of editions (“Mourning”, “Brass” and “Steel” editions) - each priced at £15.00 - these were produced in collaboration with USA-based Crazy Bricks (figures also available via their www for US$20 per).
”Studley Billund the Lego compatible Mechtorian Mini figure is reborn in three factory painted versions with pad printed bodies. Produced in collaboration with Crazy Bricks, each of the minifigures uses a combination of new injection molded ABS parts combined with re-purposed official Lego parts."
"Studley Billund had a dream.
A dream of total compatibility between all Mechtorians.
He dreamed of a world where people could help each other by lending a hand, a whole arm. a leg or whatever part was needed at the time. A world where people could come together to build something greater than themselves by combining their unique abilities and unique parts for the greater good.
But people told him he was just playing.
His ideas were the dreams of a child.
He listened to them…..
Now he makes the most popular toy system in the world."
Not too long ago, I would’ve gagged for these, purely because I was in-deep with Lego mini figures, so much so I had even wanted to do my own TRE-mascot Lego mini-figure! … funny how time and finances changes a person’s focus … but it’s “Doktor A”, so the toy-desire will always be “timeless”! LOL
