“Zarzaj! An Art Tribute To 40 Years of 2000 AD” @ The Gallery at 164, Leeds, UK (Sept 1-30)

2017 is the 40th Anniversary of the legendary British comic 2000 AD and its breakout character Judge Dredd. As part of the celebrations for the 40th anniversary Vice Press will be hosting an officially licensed art gallery in Leeds celebrating the art of the comic titled Zarzaj! An Art Tribute To 40 Years of 2000 AD which will run throughout September in collaboration with Thought Bubble Comic Festival!

PRESS RELEASE: ”Vice Press have teamed with 2000 AD and Thought Bubble Festival to celebrate 40 Years of the Galaxy¹s Greatest comic with Zarjaz! An Art Tribute To 40 Years of 2000 AD; a Thrill-Powered gallery exhibition in Leeds featuring work by Earth¹s mightiest artists and designers from comics and pop culture!

Curated by artist and Vice Press co-founder Matt Ferguson, Zarjaz! An Art Tribute To 40 Years of 2000 AD includes a wide range of art featuring characters and titles from 2000 AD¹s rich history and will include over 40 new release created especially for the gallery. The gallery runs from September 1st through to September 30th at The Gallery at 164, Munro House, Leeds. We will also be hosting a special event held on the evening of Friday the 22nd of September from 7pm to celebrate the opening of the Thought Bubble convention. The gallery is free to attend!"
